Have you ever wondered about the items in the sanctuary such as their purpose? Or how do we prepare for a service? 

Join the GLC altar care leaders for a fun evening of learning about how we prepare and maintain our church’s worship space, especially the altar, communion vessels, and paraments – but with a twist! We will learn through wine pairings! The pairings will also include various breads, cheeses and fruits. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

This event is part of our new Stewardship efforts to share more about how we can give our time though supporting the altar care team for Sunday service and treasure in your donations to the altar care budget line. 

February 15  - 5 p.m. @ Georgetown Lutheran Church. Suggested donation of $25. All donations will go towards supporting the work of altar care. If you are interested in helping support the event through additional in-kind donations (e.g. food/wine), please contact Cassandra Kuball.
